LA's internationally celebrated animal photographer Grace Chon has dropped Healer, a visual tonic for these jittery times. Gorgeous, unhurried portraits of dogs pair with an invitation to pause and drink in the message each soulful-eyed subject seems to send. Lingering with these gut-warming images feels like that first slow, deep breath of the morning.

'It's a chance to throw your heart wide open and let each dog's singular, potent healing energy wash over you,' Chon explains. 'Take a beat, sit with each one, and absorb the love they're offering.'
'Open up to their wisdom and messages,' she continues. 'Trust what you feel. Let yourself take in their gifts of support, acceptance and unconditional love.'
Viewers are flooding in with their own reactions to each image—what the pictured pups made them feel—and Chon reposts the best in slides. The comments lift you right off the ground: 'Everything will be okay!' reads one. 'Eat all the cookies,' says another.
'This work runs bone-deep for me; it's the sum of everything 13 years of working with dogs has taught me,' says Chon. 'It's been growing since 2019 and I honestly can't wait to set it loose. They are the medicine we need right now.'
